What an amazing location, the Cliffs Chapel at Glassy! It was such a beautiful day to capture Ashton and Josh's wedding day up in the mountains of South Carolina where the passing rain storms gave us some great clouds to photograph. I was honored to play a part in this small absolutely picturesque wedding. I hope you enjoy a sampling of the wedding pictures from their day.

The day started out with beautiful weather on Lake Keowee at the Lighthouse Event Center. The chairs and ceremony all setup, complete with games and boat rides ready for the guests. Just as the ceremony started, the clouds came in and the rain came down. But it did not damper the beauty of this couple saying their “I Do’s” - we moved everything inside the tent and the wedding ceremony went on. And as if on cue, as the bride came down the aisle so did the sun and everything came together so wonderfully.
The bride was beautiful and calm and the groom kept us laughing all day. We are so thankful that Better Tie was able to capture this true love story. I hope you enjoy their Wedding Highlight video.

Unfortunately for Katherine and Evan their wedding turned out to be the same time as a monsoon, it rained for the whole wedding day! But the couple was so wonderful to work with and gave us some amazing shots. We made the most of it and was able to grab some shots outside in-between rain clouds at the Courtyard Marriott. I always love photographing downtown Greenville SC at the Huguenot Loft / Certus Loft. Dave McMilliam with Memories by McMillian created all the floral arrangements Susan and her amazing team, Willrich Bridal, took care of all the wedding planning. I had the pleasure to meet Jan and Robert last year and talk with them about their small intimate wedding at The Loom. What two amazing people, and I loved their personalities and the family and guests were no less then crazy and fun. Take a look at some of fun we had with them and their guests!

This has been an amazing couple and family to work with. We actually filmed Meredith's sisters wedding 2 years ago. Then when Meredith and John was engaged we were asked if we could film, photograph, and light their wedding. It was great to work with Dave McMillian, Susan with Willrich Bridal, and bring all of our talents together to create an unforgettable wedding. I have actually known Chrystal forever and have been close to her family for almost 30 years now. So you can only imagine how happy I was to hear that she wanted us to be the wedding photographers capturing her and Walt's special day. Chrystal wanted a rustic outdoor reception with fun games for everyone there. The tent was set up on her families land with the Blue Ridge Mountains as their backdrop! You couldn't ask for a better scenic view. Here's just a few photos from that beautiful event. We are very pleased for the two of them and wish them only the best in their journey.
